Mr. Pierre Laporte is the Country Director for Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, Burkina Faso, Guinea, and Togo based in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. A Seychelles national, he has held various positions in international finance, the most recent being Minister for Finance, Trade and Investment for the Republic of Seychelles. Pierre, an experienced economist, has previously served as Governor of the Central Bank of Seychelles, and as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Resident Representative in Niger from 2005 to 2008.
